Welcome to Eric Walker's official website. It was long ago in a galaxy far away that Eric traveled to distant planets via George Lucas and his two spin off tales entitled The Ewok Adventure, and The Battle for Endor. The films are hard to find with the most recent release being a two DVD movie set under the name Star Wars Ewok Adventures: Caravan of Courage and Ewoks: The Battle For Endor. Unknowing to Eric Walker however, the simple magnificence of these ‘Ewok films’ would leave an indelible mark in the Star Wars universe. This website was launch in May 2000 and maintained for many years by Star Wars fans for which I am still honored by their encouragement and hard work of putting together a web presence so other fans would have a way to contact Star Wars First Mace and remember the Ewok movies that were made in the mid 1980's. So Thank you Michael, Chase, and Marco for starting it all! Eric Walker’s career began in the early eighties in acting. One of his first roles was starring opposite Dyan Cannon as her Nephew in the ABC Movie of the week "Having It All" Directed By Edward Zwick (Glory, Legends of the fall, The Last Samurai). Other roles included the television series "Webster" with Emanuel Lewis, and "Little Spies" with Mickey Rooney. “Filthy Rich” with Delta Burke and “The Marshall Chronicles” Directed by James Burroughs (Taxi, Cheers, Friends). Other movies include “She’s out of control” with Tony Danza, and “Less than Zero” with Robert Downey Jr. Eric later attended the Los Angeles High School for the Performing Arts alongside such well-known entertainers as Josh Grobin, Fergie, Corbin Bleu, Anthony Anderson to name a few. He studied acting in Hollywood with veteran actor Virgil Frye with other fellow actors such as Alicia Silverstone, Courtney Gains, Sean Penn, and Corey Feldman. As an Director, Producer, and Editor Eric has won numerous awards from Youth In Film and The Southern California Picture Council for his films “Miracle Alley” and the Canadian documentary; “The Melashenko’s: God ‘s Leading Through The Generations”.
Last year with the encouragement of Star Wars fans Eric started a kickstarter.com project to complete and publish a book about his adventures in the Star Wars Universe originally entitled "Growing Up On Skywalker Ranch" that met all its original funding goals. The book has now been renamed "Growing Up in a Galaxy Far Far Away". It will be released first to the backers at the end of April and to the general public and retailers on the Star Wars holiday May the 4th be with you.
